Welcome to Sona Camping
Sona Camping is located idyllically next to Stjørdalselva, near the E14, about 20 minutes from Trondheim Airport / Stjørdal and 40 minutes from Storlien
The campsite has 10 cabins of different sizes.
The campsite has ample space for caravans, campers and tents.
Fishing license for salmon fishing can be bought at the campsite. We also offer sea fishing by boat with driver.
Besides salmon fishing and sea fishing there are many activities and sights in the area.

Salmon fishing
Sona Camp offers one of the best salmon fishing pools in Stjørdal river. The pool is located right beside
the Camping.
Fishing on both sides approx. 400 m. (see picture)
The pool is firstly rented out together with accommodation, but also to people without accommodation if there is space.
Only flies and lures are accepted to fish with.
Open cabin and campfire are located at the river on the north side.
Freezer for caught fish is available at the camping.
We also offer guided tours.

The Stjørdal river flows into the national salmon sea, Trondheims sea.
The Stjørdal river is one of the best salmon rivers in central Norway.
